Metric announced today by its official website the canadian fall tour 2009.

For now 5 concerts are planned :

Oct 15 - Centre In The Square - Kitchener, ON
Oct 16 - Metropolis - Montreal, QC
Oct 19 - Ottawa Civic Centre Salon - Ottawa, ON
Oct 20 - Massey Hall - Toronto, ON
Oct 23 - Centennial Hall - London, ON

Tickets are officially on sale the friday July 24.

Throught this website, fan club members have access to a pre-sale offer to be sure to have tickets for the shows !

Metric performed their hit Help, I’m Alive on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, which aired on Thursday, 18th. They probably chose this song because this is their first #1 single !

Metric has been nominated for the 2009 Polaris Music Prize for their last album : Fantasies !

The Polaris Music Prize is a non-profit organization that hands out an award to one Canadian artist each year.

This is the fourth year of the $20,000 Prize which is awarded to the best full-length Canadian album, judged solely on artistic merit, without regard to genre or record sales.

I will try as much as I can to give you all the news about Metric, this amazing rock band ! I think something is missing on the internet about Metric, a website/blog that can give all the news, everytime, about Metric. Something that would be a complement to the official website.

I am currently not sure if  this is going to work, but I still can try !
